Welcome to "The Cure"

 

If you are here then you made it! You made it all the way through your self programming site. The majority of the cure was within the pages you just read through. Knowledge is the cure. Knowing that you are in control is the cure. You just need to realise that you are the pilot of your body. You are such a perfect creation, and you are OK!

 

From now on I want you to try something different. Whenever anything seems to come in your way in life blame yourself. I want you to do this because it is your fault. Let me explain!

 

It's Your Fault

Your crossing the road at a crossing and a car very nearly hits you when the driver should have waited for you to cross. It's your fault for not being careful enough or it's your fault for being there at that time of day because you did choose to go and cross that crossing after all. You are in control of your life!

You go to get up from a table and you knock and spill a hot cup of coffee over your leg. So don't think "The world hates me!", it's not the world that's done that to you. It's your fault for not being careful enough and by getting upset it won't help the situation in the slightest. You are in control of your life!

Your life is going to start getting better but you need to stay nice and positive about things. I can't tell you too much about the cure to anxiety to maximise it's effectiveness (Trust Me), all I can say is that it's within you now.

If you feel the symptoms of a panic attack coming then recognise it and blame yourself (it is your fault after all) and try out the following effective methods:

 

Cold Water Therapy

Splash some cold water over your face, by doing so your are telling your mind that your body has just dived into water and may need to conserve Oxygen, It slows the heart down ever so slightly. The main thing this does is cut the adrenaline out of the equation and instantly gets rid of the stress element that is a major factor in Anxiety.

 

Perform the 7/11 Technique

Take a deep-slow breath in though your nose and slowly count to seven
Hold it for a second
Exhale gently out through your mouth to the count of eleven
(I still use this technique to this day, it really is effective)


This regulates the Carbon dioxide and Oxygen throughout your body and it quite literally forces your body to relax, it's just what you need!

The rest my Brothers and Sisters is down to you as the Wise Buddha once said "I can only show you the door", but please take care and follow this method. One Day not long from here you will suddenly realise that your Anxiety levels are stable, and you will wake up in the morning to realise you love life again.
